Molloy Construction Services (MCS) is a family owned building company founded in 1995. It was established by it’s Irish owner and Director, David Molloy in San Francisco, California and now has an office in Pinner, Middlesex; the greater London area.
MCS specialises in high-end residential and commercial developments as well as once off new builds, refurbishments, basements and extensions. MCS has an international reputation for delivering quality.
MCS employs competent, professional tradesmen who take pride their work and who strive to be the best in their field. Employing direct labour enables our building crews to operate as well-organised units. All groundwork, foundation work, brickwork and carpentry work is carried out by our expert in-house team. This enables MCS to ensure optimum standards and scheduling are consistently achieved. All plumbing and electrical works are carried out by certified reputable sub-contractors who subscribe to the MCS ethos of striving to exceed client’s expectations.

This Swiss Cottage project was completed in 2012. This was a complete renovation of a one-bedroom basement apartment. The MCS team also demolished the corner of the structure to allow access for a new kitchen extension to the rear of the project. New ceiling lintels were installed throughout and window and door sizes were increased.
The team made a six-meter opening in the corner of the house in order to allow access to the new extension from the apartment. Creative underpinning sections created a master bedroom.
This area was once under half a meter of stagnant water. The MCS team underpinned and installed a waterproofing and drainage system to keep the area dry. The team dealt with significant settling of ceiling joists, etc. These were straightened in order to achieve straight ceiling lines.
The rear extension was completed consisting of steel beams wrapped in oak and extensive glass enclosure throughout. Bi-fold doors were installed at the rear and side. Incorporating an attractive patio and BBQ area to the rear leading out into the garden area provided the perfect finish to this project.
MCS's crew re-plastered throughout and installed custom cabinetry, wardrobes and all the finish carpentry, skirting, doors, etc. Both the en-suite and the family bathroom were tiled to a pristine standard using high-end bathroom fittings. Outside MCS created a new diagonal concrete stairs descending down into the property. This was clad in Indian stone and incorporated planters and external lighting for dramatic and creative aesthetics.
This custom designed kitchen was installed incorporating top of the range appliances throughout. This build came in on time and on budget as is consistent with MCS's track record. MCS clients were delighted with the result; a professional, high quality transformation of a dated flat into a beautifully finished, modern, bespoke residence.
Inside the apartment we underpinned in what is now the master bathroom, which at the time had up to 5 meters of water. We installed a tanking and waterproof system ensuring that it was water tight and dry. Being a new structure we leveled out the ceilings and completely re-plastered throughout. We then installed custom cabinetry and finishing carpentry to the kitchen area. Outside new concrete steps were constructed integrating lights on both sides of the walls.
